The Cashier will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth transactions, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate financial records within our photo studio environment. Key Responsibilities: Cash Handling: Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems. Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment securely and in accordance with company procedures. Maintain accurate records of transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift. Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries, bookings, and purchases. Provide information about our services, packages, and promotions to customers in a clear and friendly manner. Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and escalate issues as necessary to ensure resolution. Appointment Scheduling: Assist customers in scheduling appointments for photo shoots, consultations, and other studio services. Coordinate with photographers and other staff to ensure smooth scheduling and optimal use of studio resources. Product Sales: Recommend and upsell photo packages, prints, frames, and other products to customers based on their needs and preferences. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and product offerings to maximize sales opportunities. Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties such as filing paperwork, organizing studio supplies, and updating customer records. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders for replenishment as needed. Qualifications: Previous experience in cashiering, retail sales, or customer service roles preferred. Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays as needed.
