We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled MEP Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team for a construction of a pharmaceutical plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- QS Vendor prequalification
- Preparation of bid packages
- Pre-bid post-bid meetings and coordination
- Analysis and recommendation of biddings
- Dissemination of drawings, specifications, etc. to all relevant parties
- Compilation of contracts Verification of work done for COP, invoices, etc. (evaluation and certification).
- Preparation of COP Variation orders, CMFI recommendation to client Involved in insurance claims, delays, penalties, liquidated damages Involved in
- Final Statement of Accounts
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
- At least 5 years of experience of relevant experience would generally be expected to successfully handle the responsibilities.
- In-depth technical knowledge (Understanding of MEP systems, construction methods and project requirements, especially within the pharmaceutical/healthcare/data centre/clean room industry)
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills to manage tasks, timelines and resource allocation.
- Good in problem-solving and ability to handle unforeseen challenges such as delays, disputes or variations and propose effective solutions.
- Attention to Detail and precision in reviewing contracts, verifying work and ensuring compliance with project-specific requirements.
