Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in the maritime and commodity trading industry? We are seeking a Operations Executive to join our dynamic team. This role involves handling shipping operations, documentation, vessel chartering, and commercial activities while working closely with key stakeholders across the supply chain. No prior experience required – training will be provided!

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Documentation:

  • Manage Letters of Credit and shipping documents while coordinating shipping activities
  • Liaise with banks, suppliers, customers, and carriers to ensure smooth transactions
  • Provide efficient and reliable support in vessel chartering (Tankers & Bulk Carriers)
  • Assist Trading Managers with sales support, client relations, and new business opportunities
  • Oversee loading and discharging operations, ensuring efficiency and minimizing demurrage costs
  • Address vessel-related issues and coordinate with relevant parties until resolved

Commercial:

  • Draft and send sales contracts to buyers
  • Manage a fleet of regularly chartered vessels to facilitate seamless trading operations
  • Maintain strong business relationships with buyers, sellers, and shipowners
  • Develop and expand commodity trading markets through strategic initiatives

Job Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Logistics, Marine, or Supply Chain Management (training provided)
  • No prior experience required, but experience in maritime, shipping, chartering, or oil/commodity trading is a plus

Skills & Personality:

  • Meticulous and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Background in Maritime Studies is preferred
  • Experience in export trading, bulk tankers, or shipping is an advantage
