Job Summary:
The Payroll & Admin Assistant is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of payroll and administrative duties within an organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Payroll Support:
- Managing payroll processing, ensuring accurate pay for all employees.
- Handling payroll data such as hours worked, overtime, and deductions.
- Addressing any payroll-related queries from employees.
2. Administrative Assistance:
- Organizing office tasks like managing schedules, handling communications, and maintaining office supplies.
- Supporting other departments or managers with administrative work such as preparing reports, filing documents, and assisting with other task time to time.
3. Record Keeping & Compliance:
- Keeping track of important employee records (e.g., personal information, attendance, leave, and benefits).
- Ensuring compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies regarding payroll and employee data.
4. Reporting & Communication:
- Generating payroll reports, tax reports, or compliance-related documentation.
- Facilitating internal communication between teams and assisting in organizing office events or meetings.
- Assist in adhoc task as assigned by superior.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in payroll processing and administration.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in using payroll software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
