JOB DESCRIPTION :

  • Manage the full spectrum of finance, accounting and treasury functions including maintain effective financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management in order to maximize the usage of company’s financial resource and minimize interest cost.
  • Summaries financial status by collecting information through preparing balance sheet, profit and loss and other statements.
  • Analyse business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, prepare budgets and variance analysis reports
  • Responsible for cash flow management and overseeing credit control management of the Group's
  • Manage the Accounts team to ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end closing.
  • To verify all payments via cheques, telegraphic transfer, bank drafts and petty cash.
  • To review the corporate income tax computation to ensure compliance with income tax regulation
  • Liaising with external parties such as auditors, tax agent, company secretary, bankers, lawyers, government authorities and suppliers.
  • To assist in Management decision by providing financial information and advice.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time by management.

REQUIREMENT :

  • A degree in Accounting or Finance, with a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar management accounting or group accountant role, preferably within the retail industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial management tools
  • Thorough understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • A strategic mindset, with the ability to align financial strategies with the overall business objectives

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
