- Registers and assigns rooms to arriving guests ensuring that registration cards are correctly completed giving required information.
- Maintains accurate records and informs other departments of arrivals, room changes, check-outs and special arrangements for VIP’s or group guests
- Handles check –out of departing guests using hotel standard procedures.
- Prepares guest folio for each arriving and departing guest for the Front Office cashiering purposes.
- Record the accurate accounting of all cash floats, takings, credit card vouchers and guest ledger accounts.
- Issues safety box deposit keys to guest on request and ensures that accurate safety deposit records are maintained.
- Provides exchange services for cash, traveler’s checks and foreign currency notes for guests and proper records are maintained.
- Check daily the personal cash count, cashier reports, and floats. Report any discrepancies to the Front Office Supervisor.
