As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of managing dining operations in a fine dining environment. THE JOBSCOPE
- Lead the team in delivering personalized and exceptional service to all guests.
- Resolve any guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring each dining experience is memorable.
- Monitor the dining environment to ensure an elevated and refined guest experience that aligns with the fine dining atmosphere.
- Supervise the front-of-house team, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, ensuring service standards are consistently met.
- Provide continuous training and coaching to staff to enhance service skills and product knowledge, particularly in fine dining etiquette.
- Oversee the execution of food and beverage service, ensuring quality and consistency in every detail.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to maintain effective service flow and resolve any operational challenges.
- Ensure dining areas are set up to meet the high expectations of a fine dining restaurant, with attention to detail in décor, presentation, and cleanliness.
- Assist with inventory control to ensure an adequate stock of food and beverage items.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of service tools, equipment, and dining materials.
- Maintain the highest standards for food safety, cleanliness, and overall restaurant hygiene.
- Ensure that staff adheres to health and safety regulations, including those related to food preparation, alcohol service, and workplace safety.
- Conduct regular checks and assessments to ensure that all practices are compliant with industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with both the front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth coordination during service.
- Keep track of reservations, special guest requests, and customer preferences to ensure repeat business.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 2-3 years in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment, with experience in a supervisory or leadership position.
- Strong understanding of fine dining service etiquette, wine service, and upscale food and beverage offerings.
