We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Executive (Travel Industry) to support our sales team by sourcing the best vendor rates, preparing competitive proposals, and managing key operational processes.
Job Description:
- Identify and source the most competitive vendor rates to develop well-structured and cost-effective proposals.
- Prepare tenders when necessary, ensuring cost efficiency through a rigorous selection process of vendors.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop innovative and attractive tour proposals that enhance sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international operators, hoteliers, and airline sales teams to secure the best package rates and group fares.
- Manage confirmed bookings by coordinating flights, ground arrangements, travel insurance, and other necessary services.
Requirements:
- A diploma or degree in Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum 3- 6 years of experience in travel operations, procurement, or sales support.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with the ability to secure the best rates and deals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with vendors, sales teams, and partners.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of travel products, airline fares, and ground arrangements is an advantage.
