- Provide sound advice and guidance to the project team to support the effective operations of the Environmental Management System.
- To prepare Environmental Management Plan (EMP) to project management, client, and authorities whenever required.
- To plan, schedule, and manage environmental activities.
- To review Environmental Aspect Impacts based on work activities.
- To ensure implementation of environmental program and provide enforcement support at project site.
- To lead and conduct regular site inspections and follow up actions to ensure compliance with environmental plan, legal, and other requirements.
- To identify potential source of pollution and relevant environmental aspect impacts followed by proposing appropriate mitigation plans and supervise corrective measures to be taken.
- To liaise and communicate with the local authority (Department of Environment, Local City Council, Health Department, etc.), client and consultant to maintain company progressive standard and requirement.
- To conduct relevant awareness training and toolbox to educate project team and site management on compliance to environmental related legal and other requirements.
- Able to produce Construction Waste Management Plan (CWMP) and Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (ESCP) at construction site and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
- To assist in any tasks assigned by the management on the environment issue from time to time.
- To generate environmental monthly report.
- To carry out other duties as and when necessary to ensure the environmental aspects in the project site is given appropriate attention.
