  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

JOB POSITION: BAR WAITER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Welcome and accompany guests to their tables.
  • Provide menus and offer comprehensive information upon inquiry, such as details on portion sizes, ingredients, or potential allergens.
  • Set up tables with linens, silverware, and glasses.
  • Inform guests about daily specials and provide menu recommendations when requested.
  • Recommend additional items as appropriate.
  • Take precise food and beverage orders using a POS ordering system, order slips, or from memory.
  • Verify customers' IDs to ensure compliance with age requirements for alcohol consumption.
  • Communicate order specifics to the Kitchen Staff.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly. Inspect dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and appearance, promptly reporting any issues.
  • Arrange table settings and maintain a clean dining area.
  • Present bills and collect payments.
  • Clear tables of used plates, glasses, and silverware, transporting them to the kitchen for cleaning.
  • Collaborate with restaurant staff to discuss daily specials, menu changes, and reservation details.
  • Adhere to all relevant health department regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests throughout their dining experience.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

  • Demonstrated employment history as a Waiter or Waitress.
  • Practical experience with cash registers and ordering systems (such as Revel POS or Toast POS).
  • Proficiency in basic mathematics.
  • Attentiveness and patience in dealing with customers.
  • Strong presentation abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, enabling success in fast-paced settings.
  • Active listening and adept communication skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to work varied shifts.
  • Willingness to serve alcohol drinks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
