We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mathematics Teacher with a passion for teaching Key Stage 3 and IGCSE students. Skills and Experience We are looking for an educator who demonstrates: Subject Expertise: Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 3 and IGCSE Mathematics curriculum, with the ability to teach engaging lessons covering a range of mathematical concepts. Student-Centered Teaching: Ability to personalize lessons to meet the developmental needs of students transitioning from Key Stage 2 and progressing toward Key Stage 4. Effective Assessment: Proficient in a variety of assessment methods to monitor student progress and inform instructional planning. Cross-Disciplinary Understanding: Awareness of how mathematics integrates with other subject areas and supports broader academic development. Engagement Strategies: Skills to foster curiosity, collaboration, and independent thinking in young learners. Requirements: Qualifications and Development A recognized teaching qualification and an Honours degree in Education/PGCE or a related discipline. Evidence of ongoing professional development and commitment to reflective practice. Knowledge and Expertise Deep understanding of the Key Stage 3 Mathematics curriculum and progression toward IGCSE. Familiarity with the English National Curriculum and strategies for supporting EAL learners. Experience in planning and delivering lessons and assessments that encourage inquiry-based learning and problem-solving skills.
