Role and Responsibilities We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Operations/Admin Manager to oversee our administrative functions and ensure efficient operations within our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, experience in company administration, and a solid understanding of application processes with the government and Legal Law. Key Responsibilities: • Company Setup: Oversee the setup of the company, including registration with relevant authorities and obtaining necessary business licenses. • Local Authority Compliance: Familiarize with and ensure compliance with local authority requirement and regulations for construction projects • Permit Acquisition: Manage the process of obtaining all necessary permits and licenses required to operate a construction company in Malaysia, including CIDB registration. • Team leadership: Provide guidance, support and training as needed for the Project Team. • Safety and Quality Control: Implement Safety and Quality system and ensure a safe and efficient work environment. • Budget Management: Develop and manage the company’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and financial sustainability. • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency. • Collaborate with project managers and other departments to support project execution. • Supervise administrative staff and provide training and support as needed. • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all operational activities. Qualifications and Education Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field. • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the construction industry. • Strong knowledge of local authority requirements and construction regulations in Malaysia • Experience in setting up and managing construction companies. • Familiarity with the permit application process for construction project. • Excellent leadership and team management skills • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers and stakeholders. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications.
