POSITION: 4 AXIS CNC TURNING SPECIALIST Circle Spin Precision Engineering Sdn Bhd. seeks a 4 AXIS CNC TURNING SPECIALIST to help design test our planned upcoming projects with crate dependable, hardworking products benefitting out company’s development • Develop and optimize 4-axis CNC turning programs • Set up and calibrate CNC lathes with live tooling, Y-axis, and sub-spindles. • Establish and adjust work offsets, tool offsets, and spindle speeds for optimal machining. • Perform turning, facing, boring, threading, grooving, drilling, and tapping with high precision • Utilize advanced turning strategies • Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D CAD models. • Apply Statistical Process Control methods for data-driven quality improvement. • Perform runout, concentricity, and roundness analysis on cylindrical components. • Maintain inspection records and process documentation for audits and certifications. • Implement zero-defect manufacturing techniques through rigorous quality control. • Select and test cutting tool geometries, coatings for various applications. • Perform routine maintenance on CNC lathes, including lubrication, cleaning, and alignment. • Work with API-certified materials for high-pressure valves, pump components, and drilling tools in the oil & gas sector. • Stay updated with industry advancements in CNC technology, automation, and smart machining. • Maintain Mastercam post-processors for various machine brands and controllers. • Troubleshoot toolpath errors, spindle misalignments, and geometric inconsistencies. • Achieve tight tolerances and superior surface finishes. • Use Coordinate Measuring Machines and laser scanning for high-accuracy part verification. • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, API (Oil & Gas), and medical-grade standards. • Monitor and adjust CNC tool wear compensation for consistent accuracy. Requirements The required skills for the position 4 AXIS CNC TURNING SPECIALIST are: • Min 5 years’ experience in 4 Axis CNC Turning. • Candidate must possess relevant education certification • Expertise in 4-axis programming for CNC turning operations. • Ability to write, modify, and troubleshoot G-code and M-code for different CNC controllers • Understanding and modifying CNC post-processors for different machines. • Ability to interpret 2D/3D models and convert them into machining programs. • Using software to detect tool collisions, optimize toolpaths, and reduce cycle times before machining.
