Security Officer

-Monitor and patrol premises regularly to ensure safety and security of the facility -Observe and report any suspicious activity or security breaches. -Make sure all vehicle keys and store keys taken out are registered in the log book -Make sure that the water through has a water supply for the lorries to pass through as required by PTG. -Hold a briefing with the guards (night shift/day shift) regarding any irregularities or complaints. -Monitor all outgoing transport carrying materials to ensure they have release permits. -Audit all stores to ensure their padlocks are in good condition. -Operate and monitor security equipment such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems. -Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents and take appropriate action. -Enforce security policies, procedures, and regulations. -Conduct access control by checking identification of visitors and employees -Provide assistance during evacuations or emergencies, ensuring safe and orderly procedures. -Prepare incident reports and document security-related events. -Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activities. -Collaborate with law enforcement, management, and other departments as needed. -Assist in the enforcement of building rules and regulations. -Provide customer service and assistance to employees and visitors when necessary.
