Purple Monkey & Pasta OHSEM are in 7 locations PJ, Puchong, Kuchai Lama, Subang Jaya, Setapak KL, Damansara Perdana opening soon in Shah Alam.
We are looking for a dynamic team member to assist the Manager in managing the Central Kitchen (Cakes / Desserts) according to company standard in sales, staffing and operations.
Chef de Partie Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute operational duties in all sections of our cake central kitchen
- Strong leadership with staffs and in charge of daily production of desserts and cakes
- Perform stock check and manage inventory to ensure that a par stock is maintained.
- Propose new product range for festive seasons or special event and/or promotions.
- Supervise working area and equipment always kept clean and tidy.
- Maintain high standard of kitchen hygiene and food safety at all times.
- Ensure consistency of quality, taste, presentation and correct temperatures by following production SOP and recipes
- Conduct regular performance appraisal of kitchen team
- Provide training to the team to improve their skills and knowledge
- Strong monitoring on minimising food wastage and spoilage to maintain food costs as per budget.
JOB LOCATION:
- Central Kitchen (Cakes/Desserts) in Puchong
Qualification:
- Minimum qualification: Degree / Diploma in culinary/baking/pastry or equivalent
- Minimum 3-4 years experience working with pastry, desserts or cakes
- Sound knowledge of Halal requirement as we are a Halal certified kitchen

Salary: From RM2,500.00 to RM3000 per month
