Job Summary:

The Manager, Human Resources is responsible for leading HR strategies, policies, and operations to support business objectives. This role involves talent management, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and HR process optimization to ensure a high-performance and engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals.

· Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture.

· Advise senior management on HR best practices and workforce planning.

· Oversee recruitment processes to attract and retain top talent.

· Implement training and development programs to upskill employees and leadership.

· Design succession planning strategies to ensure long-term talent sustainability.

· Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and industry regulations.

· Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.

· Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

· Manage disciplinary procedures, grievances, and workplace investigations.

· Oversee compensation structures, performance-based incentives, and benefits administration.

· Conduct benchmarking to ensure competitive salary and benefits packages.

· Drive performance management initiatives, including goal setting and appraisals.

· Lead change management efforts to support business transformation.

· Develop and implement performance appraisal systems.

· Identify training and development needs and coordinate learning programs.

· Support career development and succession planning initiatives.

· Optimize HR systems and processes to improve efficiency.

· Utilize HR analytics and reporting to inform decision-making.

· Manage HR budgets and resources effectively.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

· 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.

· Strong knowledge of labour laws, compliance, and HR best practices.

· Experience in HR strategy, talent management, and organizational development.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in HRIS (exp; Quarto System, Oracle) payroll system and data analytics.

· Experience in plantation and manufacturing industries are preferred.

· Strong ability to influence and work with senior leadership.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
