Job Responsibilities: • To interpret and apply specifications when formulating processes to ensure product is in conformance with all customer requirements, and Quality System procedures are followed. • To provide and maintain Process Planning Sheet (PPS) with adequate information based on the technical data package from customer. • To develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product requirements, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. • To coordinate manufacturing and assembly process review with production and quality engineering personnel for new project/package to ensure compatibility and compliance of the processing method. • To maintain configuration control internal procedure including configuration • To generate internal technical documents including but not limited to internal Condition of Supply (COS), technique sheet, work instruction, sketch, special process procedure (SPP) and operation instruction (SPOI) from customer technical data package on manufacturing requirements. • To support Request for Quotation (RFQ) activity by providing sufficient information to Programs team with regard to all aspects of Process Engineering based on existing process capability, equipment and facility. • To perform gap analysis on new potential manufacturing process and process specification change. • To perform a thorough review of customer’s inquiry and/or request for configuration control information. • To analyse the possible impact of design and/or process change when requested by customer. • To coordinate Customer Change Board (CCB) meeting to flow down any requirement change on product. • To internally and externally support on technical and engineering issues by raising and/or responding to Engineering Assistance Request (EAR)/Technical Query (TQ)/Deviation Request (DR). • To lead manufacturing process qualification activity. • To attend Contract Review and MRB meeting. • To conduct internal audits when qualified by Quality department. • To support the Engineering Section Head (when requested) in discussion of technical details with the Logistics and Warehouse, Purchasing, Product Development, Production, Quality, Special Process, Programs and Production Planning and/or customer. • To ensure that the Group’s Quality System and Procedures are adhered to at all • To receive and act on any other instructions from the Head of department or any other person delegated by him/her.
