Production Supervisor

Objective(s): To supervise 20 to 30 operators within the team towards effective and efficient material use and production by following the necessary Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) respectively. To understand the impact of the responsibilities, and to be fully committed (at all times) and motivated to safely and professionally engage on the everyday task while upholding the treasured culture of AMC CINCARIA SDN BHD respectively. To assist in ensuring the team's safety, motivation and commitment in the workplace. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Supervise all MS at Production and meet daily build schedule, quality and process yield targets. 2. To ensure no downtime on production is related to material issue. 3. To ensure Production line is running smoothly all the time. 4. To purchase and order any indirect material if require using on Production form SCM Department. 5. Plan and organize his/her resources available and ensure optimum utilization of resources for maximum productivity. 6. Train new operators and provides continuous training and development of existing operators for continuous productivity improvement. Liaise with HR Dept and conduct new MS orientation, training and certification program. 7. Direct, control and motivate production staff in all aspects affecting work performance 8. Ensure production quality and safety standards are complied with requirement. 9. Provide production records and other performance indices to the Production Manager whenever required. 10. Ensure high standard of safety and housekeeping in the production area. Include the practice of 6s housekeeping and “Safety is no compromise” to all employees. 11. Consistently maintain WIP inventory within stipulated target in order to achieve low cycle time. 12. Be customer focused, and responsive to quality and delivery issues, and take prompt actions to resolve any customer problem. 13. Work closely with engineers to strive for high quality standard of products manufactured, and participate in quality improvement or cost reduction program. 14. To report process malfunctions to the Production Manager and liaise with Maintenance and Engineering to resolve the problem.
