Technical Supervisor

Key Responsibilities: Supervision and Leadership: Lead, manage, and mentor a team of technicians and engineers. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met. Provide technical guidance and support to the team as needed. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members. Technical Expertise: Oversee the maintenance and repair of systems, machinery, or software (based on the industry). Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and best practices. Project Management: Assist in planning, organizing, and overseeing technical projects. Ensure technical solutions meet client requirements and are completed on time. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources. Report on project status and escalate issues as needed. Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor processes to ensure work is completed accurately and to the highest standard. Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure the team's output is in line with company policies and industry standards. Collaboration and Communication: Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination and execution of projects. Provide training to new team members or cross-functional teams as necessary. Act as a point of contact for escalations and technical inquiries. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in both technical operations and team performance. Propose and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience). Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a technical supervisory or leadership role. Hands-on experience in the relevant technical field (e.g., IT, manufacturing, engineering). Proven track record of managing and leading a technical team. Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in relevant technical software/tools. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
