Purpose of the Role The Sales Engineer is responsible for both sales and pre-sales and provide technical solutions. The candidate is required to provide customers with technical advice on the use of Leviat brand products and to exploit market opportunities leading to increased brand awareness. Provide options and recommend safe, practical, and cost-effective solutions to problems encountered by specifiers and end users. Key Tasks & Responsibilities High-performance sales experience in the construction industry (experience with direct sales to Precast/Pre-stressed customers, contractors and/or fabricators preferred). Ensure that assigned market meets or exceeds its sales goals by proactively pursuing on projects and industry stakeholders. Creates and implements Sales/Marketing pull through strategies for customers to increase brand and product market share. Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching and analyzing sales options. Provide timely, on-site identification, communication and resolution of product and sales issues within their assigned territories. Excellent communicator with the ability to coach and educate customers, dealers, or inside sales team on products. Deliver solutions for our customers through consultative selling and leveraging the broader capabilities of Leviat. Train our customers on the features, benefits and installation of new and existing products and create preference for our product portfolio within assigned territory. Innovative spirit to work cross-functionally in developing organizational growth concepts and ideas Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors. Continually improves ongoing product knowledge development. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in the promotional event. Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. To perform other duties as are necessary to execute core duties or other duties assigned by the reporting manager. It is not possible to enumerate all duties but your scope covers all Sales related responsibilities. Your duties will also extend to other departments as and when required Key functional competencies and relevant experience Degree / Diploma in Civil / Building Engineering or equivalent qualification with relevant experience. Working experience in related fields— sales, construction, and building materials including hands-on and report/document writing. Exposure to Multinational Culture | Work-environment. An active sales hunter. Technical product knowledge in building materials/construction accessories. Wide network of contractors / consultants / engineers. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of people; Possess good written and verbal communication skills; Fluent in written and spoken the English Language; Computer literate with Microsoft Office; High level of integrity, ethics, compliance to CRH policies and related laws, and imperative to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and intellectual property of products and services; Great attitude who embraces every situation with enthusiasm and a Customer-centric approach; Committed and have displayed a sense of urgency to respond to customers; Resonate with Leviat Values including safety aspect What we offer?
