General Administration: • Prepare staff weekly duty roster and payroll by monthly cutoff date and submit to Manager for approval. • Carry out staff daily pre-shift briefings and OJT as required. • Assist Cafe Manager in holding weekly team meetings. • Assist in maintaining an efficient FOH inventory system in accordance with company processes. • Ensure FOH stock levels are correct as reported; maintain healthy stock level by liaising with the Manager and kitchen team. • Perform and assisting stock-closing at the end of month and submit reports to the management. • Ensure that all food products are well presented and served according to food safety standard. • Ensure designated rooms or serving areas are set up accordingly for events catering. • Assist in invoicing and reconciling of events catering. • Attend meetings and training courses in/out of the office as appropriate. • Attend to any other reasonable requests by the management. Food Safety and HSE: • Assist the Cafe Manager in ensuring all company and statutory regulations of hygiene and safety are adhered to by kitchen team at all times. • Undertake visual Health & Safety checks; ensure all accidents are recorded and reported. • Ensure that the food preparation, presentation and service are carried out in compliance with company standards and client’s expectation.• Ensure the cleanliness, 5S of storeroom are always practiced and complied with food safety requirement. • To be always adhere and following personal hygiene standard while on duty. • Ensure legal requirements and standards related to Sodexo Food Safety and Workplace Safety and Health are implemented and adhered during the entire Operational processes related to Food Services and its scope of activities. • Ensure food safety procedures are adhered to by kitchen and service's team. • Ensure only trained employees are deployed and have been briefed on their roles. • Any other food safety related tasks assigned e.g. temperature monitoring of food, storage and equipment, taking food samples, cleaning activities. Teamwork and Initiative: • Assist the Cafe Manager in managing, training and developing staffs in accordance to Sodexo and Google standards. • Ensure that all staff execute assigned tasks accordingly, provide timely feedback and necessary training, and report any arising issues to the management. · Customer Service: • Communicate well with all stakeholders and demonstrate a pleasant and polite personality. • Extend efficient, caring and friendly service to all clients and visitors of cafe. • Promote teamwork and ensure all team members focus on the client’s needs. • Perform other related duties as requested.
