Process Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Process Technician is reporting to Engineering Manager, and the Process Technician will be responsible for the following, i.e. a. Prepare first article (FA) sample for various customers, ensuring that the sample meets all the specified requirements and quality standards. b. Assist the engineer in overseeing the production process on the production line, ensuring that all steps are performed accordance with company standards. c. Manage the production process, from cutting until packing finished products. d. Develop and prepare working instructions and process data sheet (PDS) to provide clear guidance to the production team, helping to streamline operations and maintain consistency across all production stages. e. Monitor the production capability throughout the entire production process, identifying any potential issues, and ensuring that production targets and quality standards are consistently met. f. Handle the documentation during New Product Introduction (NPI) and mass production. g. Provide support for ad-hoc tasks as required by superior. REQUIREMENTS: In order to undertake & accomplish all the above, the successful candidate will need to have:- 1. Candidate possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronic/ Mechanical) or its equivalent. 2. At least 1 to 2 year(s) of working experience in Machining/ Facility or handling fully automation machines and troubleshooting, preferably within the wire harness manufacturing industry. 3. Candidates proficient in both spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia and English is required. 4. Demonstrates the ability to work extended hours as needed to meet project or production deadlines. 5. Experience or knowledge in wire harness, wire, cables, crimp connector systems and IDC termination will be added advantage. 6. A motivated and independent team player with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively across all levels. 7. Knowledge in IPC 620 standard will be added advantage.
