General Account Executive

Job description: The General Account Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting the finance department in financial reporting and analysis. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. Job Responsibilities: maintain and update accounting records and files prepare journal entries, including accruals and prepayments Reconcile bank statements anf general ledger accounts Ensure timely and accurate posting of all financial transactions Support the teams in budget preparation and forecasting activities Assist in audits by providing required documentation and explanations Provide support to other departments in financial matters assist in special projects and perform ad hic financial analysis as required Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods ( e.g: month-end close, audits) Job Qualifications: At least Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field At least 1 year and above experiences as a account position Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft software Strong understanding of a accounting principles and financial regulations.
