Responsibilities: Test Planning and Design: Understand and analyze project requirements and specifications. Design and develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Test Execution: Execute test cases (manual) and analyze results. Identify, document, and track software defects. Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing. Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate test documentation, including test cases, test results, and defect reports. Provide clear and concise feedback to the development team on issues found. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality software delivery. Participate in review meetings and provide input on requirements, design, and potential problems. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and testing methodologies. Suggest improvements to enhance the quality and efficiency of the testing process. Support: Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support to users during the testing phase. Help troubleshoot issues and provide user support as needed. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Manual Tester or in a similar role. Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing. Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and testing methodologies. Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred: Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting. Understanding of various software platforms and operating systems.
