JOB DESCRIPTION: - Set up and configure AV equipment for all events across 22 function rooms. - Provide technical support to organisers for any AV-related issues during events. - Conduct daily AV checklists and record all equipment usage. - Assist event organisers and sales teams during site visits for upcoming events. - Set up last-minute events or accommodate last-minute changes as requested by sales or organisers. - Coordinate and monitor outsourced AV vendors when required. - Support live bands with their sound system setup and equipment configuration. - Conduct quarterly preventive maintenance for all AV equipment. - Maintain a monthly inventory record of all AV equipment and accessories. - Ensure all AV equipment is in proper working condition and available for use. - Manage weekly AV equipment rentals such as conference microphones and clip mics, especially for additional requests from the sales team. - Monitor and order consumable supplies including AA batteries, black tape, and other necessary items. - Set up and assist with webcams and online meeting equipment for organisers. - Respond to fire alarms and provide assistance during any technical-related emergencies during night shifts. - Troubleshoot kitchen equipment trips (fuse, MCB) and assist the engineering team during night shifts. - Assist with in-room guest requests, including delivering bottled water, replacing bedsheets, etc. - Assist guests with luggage handling when required. - Accompany and assist guests to the hospital in case of accidents within the hotel premises. JOB SPECIFICATION: - Candidates must have at least SPM/SPVM, or hold a Certificate or Diploma in Audio Visual or other related fields. - Have a Ability to work on shift - Possess good personality and punctuality. - Possess strong communication skills. - Must be friendly, positive, self-disciplined and willing to learn.
