Controls all Front Office activities to provide satisfactory rooming for guests and maintain a high level of occupancy. Besides: Maintain an up to date records of the following: * occupancy (%) * average room rate (ARR) * total room nights generated in terms of business and market mix * hotel comparison report in terms of occupancy and ARR * forecast of rooms for the next three days and following month - Provide information pertaining to room status in the daily management briefing on the following: * expected day's occupancy * expected arrivals on terms of VIPs and groups * expected departures for the day * next three days' forecast - Controls and ensure that master key issuance follows approved procedures. - Co-ordinate the workflow of the department with the other relevant departments to ensure smoother operations. - Supervises activities in the main lobby area. - Handle all guest complaints effectively and without delay.
