TECH LEAD/PRODUCT LEAD

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with operations, marketing, supply chain, and other internal teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for technology enhancements. Engage with Development Partners and Vendors: Act as the primary point of contact for external development partners and vendors. Collaborate to brainstorm, design, and implement tech solutions that meet business requirements. Project Oversight and Management: Oversee the end-to-end implementation of technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise. Solution Design and Architecture: Provide input on system architecture and design, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices. Technology Evaluation and Selection: Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and platforms that can enhance retail operations and customer experience. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within retail operations. Work with internal stakeholders to implement these improvements. Compliance and Security: Ensure all technology solutions comply with industry standards and regulations, and data privacy requirements. Training and Support: Collaborate with internal teams to provide training and support on new technology implementations, ensuring smooth adoption and integration. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of technology solutions, including system architecture, integration points, and support processes. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in a technology role within the retail or e-commerce industry. Strong understanding of retail technology systems, including Retail Management System (RMS) Point of Sale (POS),Warehouse management systems (WMS) inventory management, CRM, and e-commerce platforms. Experience working with development partners and vendors to implement technology solutions. Proven experience in overseeing technology projects from inception to completion. Solid understanding of system architecture, cloud computing, and integration methodologies. Knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance standards, and data privacy regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana)
