Technician

1. Under direction of Maintenance Manager 2. Do specialized and general maintenance and repairs to the Hotel as required. 3. Inspect equipment for preventive maintenance and Inspect work for completeness including tidying up. 4. Do general repairs such as painting, patching walls and hanging shelves. 5. Operate machinery and equipment as required. 6. Keep time cards and routine records and prepare routine work reports 7. Assist to coordinate renovation of existing facilities and the constructions of new facilities. 8. Perform and inspects major contract work on the electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems in all hotel locations. 9. Perform janitorial duties and other related tasks as required. 10.Perform other duties and other related tasks as required by Maintenance management. Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in relevant field preferred. · At least two years of experience working as a technician or maintenance personnel, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting. · Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other technical equipment commonly found in hotels. · Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. · Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team. · Good communication skills, both verbal and written. · Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. · Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
