Account Assistant
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Handle partial accounts in AR and AP.
- Posting of accounting entries for AR and AP.
- Issue sales invoices and statements of accounts.
- Monitor collections for non-payments & irregularities, and post receipts into the accounts, in a timely manner.
- Follow up with customers on collections and attend to queries or reconciliations with customers. Negotiate with customers in non-payment cases.
- Organize records of sales invoices, bills and deposits.
- Prepare and generate monthly account receivable reports for dissemination to account manager as well as any other adhoc reports
- Matching of supplier invoices and ensure that all purchase orders are approved by respective Heads of Departments.
- Preparation of payments to suppliers or contractors and ensuring that payments are in accordance with company policy and within the credit terms of suppliers or contractors.
- Input of financial data and ensuring that purchases, expense & payments are properly recognised & recorded.
- Assist in banking matters.
- Performing other administrative duties.
- Undertake any other duties in relation to the job scope as assigned by account manager from time to time.

1. Efficiency and effectiveness in performing the tasks allocated.
2. Number of significant errors during performing the tasks allocated.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
