The Operations assistant will play a vital role in supporting our daily operations by handling various logistical tasks, deliveries, and assisting with vehicle management. This position requires someone who is highly organized, has excellent time management skills, and is able to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable moving between locations and providing hands-on support to the operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run errands and complete tasks as directed by the operations team (e.g., vehicle pickup, delivery of documents, equipment, or supplies).
- Assist with vehicle inspections, maintenance coordination, and ensuring vehicles are ready for customer use.
- Support in transporting vehicles for servicing, cleaning, or customer deliveries.
- Deliver and collect rental agreements, payment documents, and other paperwork.
- Provide assistance in the preparation and setup of tours and transfers.
- Help coordinate logistics for customer pickups and drop-offs.
- Ensure all vehicles are well-maintained, clean, and in working order.
- Assist in organizing and managing the fleet of vehicles.
- Perform general administrative support, including filing and organizing documents.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure timely and smooth operations.
- Report any issues or concerns to the operations manager in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven ability to handle physical tasks and operate various types of vehicles.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills and customer service-oriented attitude.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the transportation, rental, or tour industry, is a plus.
- Knowledge of the local area and routes is beneficial.
