Key Responsibilities:
1. Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Assist in the maintenance and servicing of CNC machines (John Ford, Agma, etc.) used in aluminum machining.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on stamping machines, grinding machines, and lathes.
- Support maintenance of extrusion presses, rolling mills, and casting equipment.
- Help diagnose issues related to motors, gearboxes, belts, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Assist in aligning and calibrating machine components to maintain precision.
2. Electrical System Maintenance
- Support troubleshooting of CNC control panels, PLCs, and automation systems (Siemens, Fanuc, Mitsubishi).
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing motor drives, relays, contactors, and circuit breakers.
- Help maintain power distribution boards, wiring, and grounding systems for machines.
- Conduct routine inspections on sensors, limit switches, and control circuits.
3. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
- Follow the preventive maintenance schedule for all production machines.
- Perform lubrication, coolant checks, and filter replacements on CNC and grinding machines.
- Assist in monitoring machine vibration, temperature, and performance for early issue detection.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports on machine performance.
4. Hydraulic, Pneumatic & Cooling Systems Maintenance
- Help inspect and maintain hydraulic pumps, solenoid valves, actuators, and hoses in stamping and extrusion machines.
- Assist in maintaining pneumatic air compressors, regulators, and vacuum systems.
- Support cleaning and servicing of machine coolant and water circulation systems.
5. Safety & Compliance
- Follow factory safety regulations when working with electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ensure proper use of PPE (safety gloves, eye protection, arc flash protection, etc.).
- Assist in ensuring machines comply with ISO, OSHA, and factory safety standards.
- Participate in safety drills and emergency machine shutdown procedures.
6. Workshop & Spare Parts Management
- Keep tools, spare parts, and maintenance workshop organized.
- Assist in tracking spare parts inventory and notifying supervisors of stock shortages.
- Work with procurement teams to order replacement parts for CNC, stamping, and grinding machines.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Maintenance.
- Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with CNC machines (John Ford, Agma), stamping machines, or grinding machines is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of CNC programming and troubleshooting (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi controllers).
- Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and electrical circuits.
- Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset.
- Good teamwork and ability to follow supervisor instructions.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-heat factory environment.
Working Conditions:
- Factory environment with exposure to machinery, high temperatures, noise, and aluminum processing.
- Shift-based work with possible overtime during high production periods.
- Regular work on CNC machines, stamping presses, grinding machines, Agma and John Ford machines, and other production equipment.
