We are looking for a Social Media Content Writer to join our marketing team and enrich our social media with new posts, guides, and marketing copy. Content Writer responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types. If you’re familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you. Feel free to share samples of your work or portfolio of your published social media post, along with your application. Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness.
Responsibilities
- Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, social media, videos, blogs and so on.
- Organize writing schedules or emergency writing arrangements to complete drafts of contents within deadlines or specific time frame.
- Always keep the Social Media/ Websites up to date and regular thematic-focused messages showcasing My Weekend Plan values through write, edit, upload and manage written/image/video promotional content. Content creation for social media such as Facebook and Instagram.
- Work with Social media Executives and Designers to create key visuals.
- Strategize, develop and craft persuasive, compelling, creative copy that engages brand audiences within Social Media platforms.
- Write, edit and proofread copies to ensure adherence to different branding styles and tone of voice.
- Provide support for social media marketing pitches and renewals.
- Able to adhere to strict timelines.
Requirements:
- At least Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism or any other related field.
- Excellent grasp of the MANDARIN, and ENGLISH languages.
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with colleagues, management & related parties.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously.
- Strict adherence to the style guides of Organization’s policies for publication.
- Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
- Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with the Organization's mission, brand image and services in order to inspire ideas and contents.
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8.15 am - 5.30 pm)
