JOB POSITION: CNC PROGRAMMER SETTING SPECIALIST LASER AUTOMATION ENGINEERING SDN BHD seeks a CNC PROGRAMMER SETTING SPECIALIST to help design test our planned upcoming projects with crate dependable, hardworking products benefitting out company’s name • Create 2D and 3D toolpaths using Mastercam or other CAM software. • Set up CNC machines • Develop and optimize CNC programs for machining operations • Simulate and verify toolpaths to prevent errors and reduce scrap. • Generate and test post-processed G-code for different CNC machines • Provide feedback to improve CAD/CAM models for better machining efficiency. • Perform test runs to ensure the correct execution of CNC programs. • Ensure machines run at optimal performance with minimal downtime. • Modify existing CNC programs to improve efficiency and accuracy. • Install and align workpieces, fixtures, and cutting tools. • Operate multiple CNC machines simultaneously when required. • Change tooling and offsets as needed during machining operations. • Adjust machine settings to correct dimensional deviations • Load and unload materials safely while minimizing waste. • Operate multiple CNC machines simultaneously when required. • Verify part dimensions against engineering drawings and tolerances. • Conduct in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and CMMs. • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001. • Implement corrective actions for non-conformities in machining processes. • Assist in root cause analysis for defective parts. • Troubleshoot CNC programming errors, including syntax and logic mistakes • Assist in predictive and preventive maintenance activities. • Coordinate with production supervisors to meet deadlines and efficiency targets. • Maintain detailed records of programming changes and process improvements • Maintain proper documentation of machine faults and corrective actions. • Install and align workpieces, fixtures, and cutting tools. • Maintain a database of CNC programs for future reference Required Skills: The required skills for the position CNC PROGRAMMER SETTING SPECIALIST are as follow: • Min 5 years’ experience in CNC PROGRAMMING and troubleshooting is necessary. • Candidate must possess relevant education certification • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software • Experience with multi-axis CNC machining • Ability to generate toolpaths optimized for machining. • Expertise in programming for CNC machines • Knowledge of post-processing techniques for various CNC controllers • Proficiency in using precision measuring tools .
