Role Description
The Seo & Social Media Specialist is responsible for enhancing the company's online presence by optimizing website content for search engines and managing social media platforms to increase engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation. This role involves implementing SEO best practices, analyzing website traffic data, and executing social media strategies to drive organic growth. The ideal candidate is data-driven, creative, and has a deep understanding of digital marketing trends.
Key Responsibilities
Seo Strategy & Implementation:
- Conduct keyword research and optimize website content for search engine rankings.
- Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic traffic.
- Perform technical SEO audits and collaborate with web developers to resolve issues.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
Social Media Management:
- Develop and execute social media marketing strategies across platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Tiktok).
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content (text, images, videos) tailored to each platform.
- Schedule and publish posts while maintaining brand voice and consistency.
- Engage with the online community, respond to comments, and foster brand loyalty.
- Track and report on social media metrics and performance insights to optimize campaigns.
Content Marketing & Optimization:
- Collaborate with content creators and copywriters to develop SEO-friendly blog posts, landing pages, and social media content.
- Optimize content for readability, engagement, and search ranking.
- Conduct A/B testing to improve click-through rate (CTR) and conversion rates.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track key SEO and social media KPIs, analyze data, and prepare performance reports.
- Provide recommendations based on insights to improve rankings, engagement, and conversions.
- Use competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in SEO and social media management.
- Proficiency in SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
- Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer, Later).
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and WordPress is a plus.
- Familiarity with paid social media advertising and PPC campaigns is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data for decision-making.
- Strong communication and project management skills.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
