Inventory Officer
Job Responsibilities
· Study, propose, and select appropriate paper types, specifications, and sizes for all books and products to optimize cost, time, and quality.
· Calculate and update paper material quantities in the system for both new and reprint titles.
· Liaise with suppliers and printers for paper delivery arrangements for printing.
· Monitor paper inventory levels regularly and propose paper purchase planning in alignment with the Printing Schedule provided by the Publishing Department.
· Accurately update records of paper stock movements, including stock transfers from suppliers to printers, intercompany stock transfers, and printing orders.
· Follow up on invoices and signed Delivery Orders (DO) from suppliers and printers for paper deliveries.
· Provide monthly paper stock reports to printers and suppliers to verify and confirm the paper stock balance at their locations.
· Maintain accurate stock balances between suppliers, printers, and the company.
· Perform any other ad hoc tasks or duties assigned by your superior from time to time.
Job Requirements
· Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any field or equivalent.
· Minimum 2 years working experience in similar field.
· Familiar with the Printing or Paper industries.
· Possess good communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
· Selected candidate is required to work at Wisma Pelangi in Bandar Baru Bangi
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
