Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for designated Division(s), providing expert guidance on employee relations matters including coaching, counseling, investigations, disciplinary proceedings, performance management, grievances, terminations, and employment legislation compliance.
- Work collaboratively with HR Business Partners to ensure consistent and effective employee relations management approaches across the business.
- Implement case resolution through approved frameworks to determine appropriate disciplinary processes and actions.
- Execute due inquiry processes including conducting fact-finding interviews, issuing show cause notices, and facilitating domestic inquiries.
- Collaborate with Company Investigation Officers when necessary.
- Investigate potential fraud indicators identified during Internal Assurance audits and identify control weaknesses.
- Ensure all inquiry processes are completed according to case complexity matrix timelines.
- Represent the company during Industrial Relations Department conciliation meetings.
- Manage end-to-end litigation processes, including document compilation and serving as liaison between external legal counsel and Company Witnesses.
- Lead and collaborate with HRBPs and the Performance Management Team to address Performance Improvement Plans and non-confirmation cases.
- Partner with the Performance Management Team to develop and deliver Performance Management Workshops for People Managers.
- Lead periodic employee relations awareness campaigns, both company-wide and division-specific.
- Contribute employment law expertise to relevant People & Organization Division projects.
- Support implementation of new employment legislation when enacted.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or LLB required
- Specialization in Industrial Relations or Legal Practice in Labour & Employment
- CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) certification considered an advantage
- 5-7 years of experience in Industrial Relations/Labour & Employment
- Working knowledge of Forensic investigation and Risk Management required
- Previous experience in Fraud Management considered beneficial
- Demonstrates resilience in challenging situations
- Excellent stakeholder management capabilities
- Strong analytical and interviewing skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced work environments
- Consistently delivers work with efficient turnaround times
- This opportunity is available to individuals authorized to work in Malaysia
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM120,000.00 - RM144,000.00 per year
