Job Descriptions
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain documentation on implementation of Waste Management Plan, Environmental Management Plan.
- Conduct training for Contractor personnel in accordance with their position requirements.
- Coordinate public hearings and consultation on environmental matters.
- Coordinate all aspects of pollution control, waste management and recycling.
- Provide guidance and technical support to field personnel for effective HSE planning, coordination and implementation.
- Impose and ensure up keeping of ISO14001.
- Regular liaison with authority, auditors, and projects’ stakeholders on HSE matters.
- Motivating the employees and accountable for staff retention and disciplinary issues.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Superior and/or the Management.
- Establish, implement, and review the Project’s Health, Safety and Environmental Management System.
- Manage and coordinate construction activities including project scheduling, budgeting, phasing, and logistics consistent with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) objectives and requirements
- Develop and formulate risk and opportunity assessment and execution plans consistent with project strategies.
- Develop, administer, and maintain sustainability strategies in waste management, environmental management, energy management, etc. through regular feedback and reporting in data tracking and analysis.
- Supervise and support project teams and subcontractors to ensure project executed according to Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) plans and requirements.
- Present critical environment issue and possible impacts to management
- Lead HSE audits to ensure effective HSE implementation in project sites.
- Provide independent reporting to the management
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor Deggree in Environmental Engineering or in related industry
- Must pose at least 10 years experience in construction sites, experience in railway project will be an added advantages.
- Must have certificates in CESSWI / CISEC / CEPSWAM
- Candidates who are available and can start immediately will be given preference.
- Able to work in Johor Bahru.
- Able to work 6 days per week.
