Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing or operational processes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Develop, test, and troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems.
- Program and configure robotic systems, including testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Design, maintain, and improve automated systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Perform data analysis to identify performance trends, equipment failures, and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of automated systems.
- Provide ongoing support for automation systems, including troubleshooting and performing regular system maintenance.
- Ensure automation solutions are scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective.
- Document system configurations, software updates, and changes to ensure proper version control and compliance.
- Planning, executing, and monitoring technical projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Implementing and maintaining quality standards for technical work, conducting quality checks, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Maintaining technical documentation, generating reports on project progress, and providing updates to stakeholders.
- Managing relationships with technical vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of services
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in automation engineering, including designing and implementing automated systems.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens).
- Experience with industrial control systems, robotics, sensors, and motion control systems.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar languages used in automation systems.
- Knowledge of SCADA, HMI systems, and communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP.
- Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining automation equipment and systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
