Stock Room Associate - Fashion Store

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Receive and unpack shipments, verify the accuracy of orders, and ensure all products are stored properly in the stock room.
• Stock Organization: Organize inventory in the stock room, ensuring products are clearly labeled, easy to find, and stored in an organized manner.
• Product Transfers: Assist with moving inventory from the stock room to the sales floor as needed, ensuring products are readily available for customers.
• Stock Replenishment: Regularly monitor stock levels on the sales floor and assist in replenishing merchandise to ensure optimal product availability.
• Stock Audits: Conduct regular stock checks and inventory counts to ensure accurate inventory records and prevent stock discrepancies.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the stock room clean, organized, and free from hazards, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Assist with Visual Merchandising: Support visual merchandising team in organizing and preparing merchandise for promotional displays and seasonal setups.
• Support Sales Team: Collaborate with sales associates to help locate and retrieve merchandise for customers, assisting with special orders or requests when necessary.
• Prepare for Inventory: Assist in preparing the store for scheduled inventory audits, ensuring all stock is properly organized and counted.
• Security and Loss Prevention: Ensure that products are securely stored in the stock room, minimizing the risk of theft or damage.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail, stock management, or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry products, as well as move stock around the store and stock room.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist sales associates.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking or the use of stock management software.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with inventory management systems or stock room processes.
• Familiarity with retail stock organization and merchandising practices.
• Ability to handle stock in a safe and organized manner.
• Knowledge of fashion trends and store products to better assist with stock replenishment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM2,500.00 per month
