- Guide guests to their tables and present menus.
- Order Taking:
- Accurately take orders for food and beverages, accommodating any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Input orders into the point-of-sale system promptly.
- Serving:
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure all orders are accurate and meet the restaurant’s standards for presentation and quality.
- Guest Interaction:
- Check on guests regularly to ensure they are satisfied with their meals and service.
- Address any complaints or concerns promptly and courteously, escalating issues to the manager if necessary.
- Table Maintenance:
- Clear and reset tables after guests leave, ensuring a clean and tidy dining area.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant, including restocking supplies and cleaning spills.
- Payment Processing:
- Present checks to guests and process payments accurately, ensuring proper handling of cash and credit transactions.
- Provide accurate change and receipts to guests.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with kitchen staff and other waitstaff to ensure smooth service.
- Assist colleagues during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Knowledge and Compliance:
- Stay informed about menu items, daily specials, and promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
- Comply with health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.
