  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Responsibilities

  • Create drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and GstarCAD.
  • Generate detailed BIM models and drawings for Mechanical and/or Electrical works in compliance with project requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team or work independently to develop drawings for submission, ensuring adherence to engineering principles and best practices.
  • Independently propose system routing based on engineering standards and perform quality checks on models and drawings.
  • Interpret and comprehend schematic and single-line diagrams to ensure accurate representation in BIM models.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all issued and received models/drawings, ensuring compliance with document control standards.
  • Actively participate in coordination meetings and clash detection sessions to facilitate seamless project execution.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the Design Lead, ensuring transparency and alignment with project timelines.
  • Work under the guidance of the BIM Manager/BIM Coordinator, diligently performing assigned tasks and meeting project objectives.
  • Adhere to and support office BIM standards, policies, and procedures, particularly in BIM-assisted quantification.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineer-in-charge and other technical professionals to achieve project goals.

Requirements

  • Malaysian citizens only.
  • Education: Certificate or Diploma in Drafting or Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), or at least a Certification of Completion in BIM Modelling (MEP) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD and BIM software (Revit); knowledge of GstarCAD and MS Office is an added advantage.
  • Experience: Relevant working experience in an M&E consulting firm is an added advantage.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of design and building projects, relevant codes of practice, and engineering design principles, with specialization in common M&E services design or equivalent.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ability to work as a team player while being assertive, independent, and proactive.
  • Strong commitment to meeting deadlines, including a willingness to work overtime when required.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Location: Office is adjacent to Bandar Puteri LRT Station.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
