The Role: Manager, HR Shared Services
The Manager, HR Shared Services is responsible to assist the HR Director on all aspects of the Payroll Operations – Malaysia Human Resources (EBSC Malaysia – HR) organization which will cover global service delivery.
In this role you will:
- Key personnel playing a vital role in the realization and implementation of the Global and Regional HR Strategy and policies, through Entegris Business Service Center – Malaysia Human Resources (EBSC Malaysia – HR) team function, providing professional Human Resources (HR) guidance, support, and maintaining the infrastructure, system and processes in line with company standards and legislations, ensuring a unified way of delivering HR services to the enterprise.
- Focused on operational excellence in the delivery of HR solutions, partnering with country HR, Corporate HR and other functional teams.
- Continuous process improvements and be part of key global HR projects to support the further development of the HR operations.
- Payroll Operations:
- Lead regional payroll, time and attendance and statutory processing, to maintain compliance to legal, fiscal and regulatory requirement.
- Key partner in centralized reporting for personnel costs management and forecast initiatives.
- Process Efficiency and Automation
- Global/Regional Process Owner for processes as defined and assigned by our Corporate HR office
- Partner to align peers and team-mates across geographies on common ways of working, process improvements and initiatives.
- Review processes and identify opportunity for process improvement.
- Partner cross functional to address operational requirements and compliance.
- Point of Contact for automation initiatives for the Function as assigned by Corporate Office
- Influence and partner with all required business partners to drive process, system and organizational changes successfully.
- Service Delivery
- Ensure the team members to deliver a comprehensive set of performance metrics.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues that arise regarding policies, processes and practices.
- Plan and execute to HR processes transition to the EBSC - Malaysia HR team.
- Oversee HR customer service and operational delivery to regional HR customers, monitoring inquiries and internal customer satisfaction and providing escalated support as needed.
- Ensure compliance to all audits, certification on Payroll Operations processes and services delivered in the EBSC -Malaysia HR.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
- Degree/Masters in Human Resources, additional HR qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Overall career experience in HR of about 10-12 years, with at least 7 years of experience in an HR Shared Services organization which includes centralized payroll administration and operations.
- Managerial level for at least 3 years leading a team of 5-10 persons.
- Having a strong knowledge of and certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green belt or Black belt) will be an added advantage.
- Experienced leading and driving in service migration projects in a matrixed organization.

- Having experience running HR Operations including but not limited to Talent Services, Total Rewards Services, Time and Attendance and Payroll administration.
