Procument Officer

Researching and identifying new suppliers to expand the company's procurement network Negotiating contracts and agreeing on terms with suppliers to secure the best prices and delivery timelines Placing and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and supplies and collaborate with Warehouse department on receiving matters. Ensure the purchased item quality and coordinate with staff and supplier on the goods rejection and return. Maintaining accurate inventory records and forecasting future requirements Liaising with internal stakeholders to understand production needs and priorities Analysing procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures for procurement Perform the necessary system (ERP / MRP) entry and updates for related procurement and delivery transactions, including but not limited to the issuance of Purchase Order (PO), Delivery Order (DO), etc. What we're looking for Bachelor Degree in Business Studies / Supply Chain / Procurement or related field of studies. At least 2 years of working experience in the related field and experience in FMCG or food industries is as added advantage. Good command in both spoken and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimise procurement processes Proficiency in inventory management and forecasting techniques Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
