Job Description: - Design, develop, and optimize timber processing machinery for increased production efficiency and cost-effectiveness. - Conduct stress analysis, thermal analysis, and performance evaluations of mechanical components used in timber milling. - Collaborate with OEM manufacturers and R&D teams to integrate the latest automation technologies into production lines. - Ensure mechanical systems comply with international engineering codes (ASME, DIN, ISO 9001) for reliability and safety. - Oversee installation, commissioning, and calibration of high-speed sawing, cutting, and veneer lamination equipment. - Develop customized solutions for mechanical failures and recommend advanced materials for machine components. - Train technical staff in advanced mechanical diagnostics and high-precision maintenance techniques. Requirements: - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Minimum 7 years of experience in high-speed timber processing machinery and mechanical system design. - Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). - Strong expertise in machine dynamics, vibration analysis, and thermal optimization. - Experience in automated manufacturing environments, integrating robotics and AI-driven predictive maintenance. - Familiarity with international engineering standards and compliance protocols. - Ability to lead engineering teams and implement industry best practices.
