Key Duties & Responsibilities: • Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, you will lead and manage the finance function, overseeing statutory and management reporting, financial planning and analysis, taxation, compliance, treasury, and other corporate matters. • Oversee the preparation of monthly consolidated group accounts, financial and management reports, quarterly updates, and annual audited financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with listing requirements. • Handle the company’s financial needs, including preparing, reviewing, and presenting quarterly and annual financial results, budgets, interim profit and cash flow forecasts, cash flow management strategies, accounting practices, internal controls, taxation, and audits, all in compliance with statutory requirements. • Take responsibility for all statutory financial management, reporting, budgeting, financial forecasting, and corporate tax compliance. • Monitor and review the company’s financial position and performance. • Manage corporate tax matters, including reviewing tax computations and related processes. • Supervise the processing and approval of expenditures, ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining proper internal control and risk management safeguards. • Liaise with internal management and business teams as well as external parties such as auditors, company secretaries, lawyers, bankers, tax agents, internal and external auditors, and relevant authorities. Requirements: • A minimum degree in accounting or finance, with professional qualifications such as ICAEW, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred. • A proven track record as a Financial Controller or at least 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within a logistics company. • Extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, general ledger, consolidation of group accounts with foreign investments, tax, and treasury functions. • Strong knowledge of MFRS and other relevant accounting standards. • Proficiency in financial reporting software and ERP systems. • Excellent people management, leadership, and mentoring skills with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members and colleagues.
