Position Overview: National Supply Chain Manager
The National Supply Chain Manager will oversee and optimize the procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution of resources across the organization’s programs. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategies that ensure the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods, including food supplies, medical resources, clothing, and other essential items for the organization’s initiatives.
The role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in supply chain management, logistics, and procurement, capable of managing complex supply networks while ensuring transparency, efficiency, and sustainability. The organization focuses on poverty alleviation, health services, and family support through key programs, including a medical clinic, food bank, feeding programme, shelter home for unwed mothers with unplanned pregnancies, and clothing bank.
To ensure operational efficiency, the National Supply Chain Manager will focus on:
- Procurement & Vendor Management – Establishing relationships with suppliers and negotiating cost-effective procurement contracts.
- Logistics & Distribution – Ensuring timely and efficient transportation of resources to different program locations.
- Inventory Control & Warehousing – Managing storage facilities and tracking stock levels.
- Sustainability & Cost Efficiency – Reducing waste and optimizing resource utilization.
- Risk Management & Compliance – Ensuring adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
This role requires a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven leader who can implement best practices to improve the organization's supply chain operations.
