Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Head of Sport & Physical Education (PE) to lead our dynamic PE department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting healthy lifestyles, a strong track record in sports education, and the ability to inspire students to reach their full potential in physical activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the PE department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
- Develop and implement a well-balanced PE curriculum aligned with international standards (e.g., IGCSE/Cambridge).
- Organize and oversee extracurricular sports programs, events, and competitions.
- Collaborate with staff to integrate physical education into the broader school curriculum.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all students.
Requirements:
- A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a school setting.
- Familiarity with international school curricula is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
