1. Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certification in Quality Control, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance, manufacturing, or a similar industry.
2. Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, CMMs) and interpreting technical drawings/specifications.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, QA software, ERP systems).
3. Analytical Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Problem-solving skills to investigate root causes of quality issues.
4. Certifications (Preferred):
- Certifications such as Certified Quality Inspector (CQI), ASQ, or Lean Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt) are a plus.
5. Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams and document findings clearly.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
