Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Induct and train new and internally promoted retail PIC on the groups policies and procedures through bespoke training plans and management courses to ensure stable integration within their new roles
- Follow up with retail PIC who have attended training to confirm their understanding of all company policies and procedures
- Manage the Supervisor Development Programme through sign off process to ensure they have been inducted into their new role in accordance with companies’ policies and procedures
- Support retail in delivering a high level of customer service across all stores, providing detailed analysis to areas and providing action plans on how to increase performance for underperforming stores
- Ensure accurate records are kept on a monthly basis for all who attend relevant training
- Work closely with In-Country Manager/Area Managers in order to solve specific training problems either on a one-to-one basis or in groups
- Build and forge successful working relationships with relevant personnel across various departments at Head Office, in order to maximise opportunities in relevant territories
- Identify trainer stores with good practices and availability to welcome and train new team members and retail PIC
- Support new store openings including recruitment, training, team inductions and retail support during opening trade across SEA
- Develop and manage JD E-Learning platform to meet the training and reporting needs of the territory
- Support retail during peak trade to reach expected targets
- Keep all training resources up to date including JD Intranet so all retail understands store processes
Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed:
- Retail Management experience necessary
- Good in written and communication in English
- Availability to travel across SEA
- High standards of conduct, performance and reliability
- Must be well organised
- Professional
- Drive and enthusiasm
- Good communicator at all levels (internal/external)
- Comfortable using Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) advantageous but not necessary as training will be provided
- Experience in Training would be advantageous.
