Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The CFO will oversee all financial activities, including financial planning, financial reporting, and managing financial statements. Additional responsibilities include developing financial strategies, performing risk management, and analyzing financial data to guide business decisions. The CFO will also be accountable for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and optimizing financial performance.
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with long-term company objectives, providing crucial insights for business planning and capital allocation.
- Financial Reporting Excellence: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Treasury Management: Lead cash flow management and capital structure optimization to support the company's financial health and growth initiatives.
- Team Development: Mentor and nurture a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate financial performance and strategy to the board of directors and key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and trust.
- M&A Support: Guide mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures processes, leveraging your expertise in financial due diligence and valuation.
- Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement initiatives to enhance profitability and optimize working capital across the organization.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Financial Planning and Financial Statements
- Strong background in Finance and Analytical Skills
- Experience in Financial Reporting
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Familiarity with US Listing Requirements and Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements
- Ability to work on-site in WP. Kuala Lumpur
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus
- Experience in the property development industry is advantageous
